Serial numbers

Postby Popgadget » Mon Mar 12, 2012 8:34 pm

Trying to figure out how many KubVans were actually built. The highest serial I have seen is 300, the lowest is 39.
What's the highest number anyone else knows of? Mine is 157, built 2/7/84.

Yea as Burnt toast has suggested check out the data base as above on the website, it's my number one question.
I am pretty sure there was something less than 533 units built so far I have identified around 86 units.
I now have 25 serial numbers and I am interested in where # 39 is that you mention as it is not on my list

Seems like "Flower Power" would work, better than "Pink"

The last 4 numbers of the serial number on my Van are 0027, is that the production #?
Have not been on this site for years.
My Van picture in on the site already, from Olympia Wa. It's white and Red.
It has been a while since I drove it, blown head. Our last trip was down the Oregon coast.
I am researching replacing the 1.6 Diesel with a 1.9 ? Any body done that yet???
Glad to see more people here now.

Yes, I put an AAZ in my van. Very easy conversion, basically a drop-in. It totally transformed the van. Feel free to message me w/ questions if you like.
Ser# 252, Built 4/84, Kubvan ex-Canada Post, ex-sandwich delivery van. 1.6NA w/ governer mod, 5 speed trans conversion.
